KEMFAST is a continuous multifilament synthetic sewing thread developed by Suanders Thread which is widely used in a variety of sewing operations ranging from upholstery and leather goods to government contract work. The primary types of Kemfast are referred to by the prefix "S" or "B" designated soft or bonded respectively. Both types are engineered and processed to result in relatively low elongation, to yield maximum yardage per pound, and to provide excellent sewing performance.

KEMFAST soft and bonded, is finished with lubrications that are specially designed for the sewing operations involved. They provide consistent machine tensions and loop formation and in addition, afford protection from needle heat to insure good sewability. Non-silicone finishes are also available on request.
